PRINCETON, NJ — Mayhem erupted at Princeton University on Monday when protesters stormed an event featuring controversial former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. The fiery opposition forced Bennett’s speech to a screeching halt as chants, a mass walkout, and a mysterious emergency alarm plunged the venue into chaos.

Bennett, a hardline Israeli politician and vocal opponent of Palestinian statehood — who once bragged about “killing many Arabs” during his military service — was addressing students at an event hosted by the Center for Jewish Life when the disruption took off.

According to the Princeton Alumni Weekly, the alarm that ended the event may have been no accident. An email from the Center for Jewish Life admitted that, while unconfirmed, university officials “confidently” suspect it was pulled intentionally to derail the event.

Now, Princeton is reportedly considering disciplinary action against those behind the protest — but for many students, the message was already loud and clear.
